The flood season in Afghanistan, which lasts from March to May, poses a significant threat to 21 out of 34 provinces. The western region and central belt are at the highest risk, while the southwest and some northern provinces are vulnerable to both flooding and drought. The recent floods have caused catastrophic damage, leaving entire communities in ruins and displacing thousands of families. Urgent aid and support are needed to provide basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter those affected. We urge everyone to come together and contribute to the relief efforts, no matter how small the contribution may be.
